Agree on what a useful meeting looks like.
An independent SalesCoach interpretation with an original exercise.
Set a shared agenda
Confirm the time available, what the buyer wants to cover, and what you hope to learn. Offer an agenda that they can change.
Discuss a useful outcome
A useful meeting may end in a next conversation, a specific decision, or an agreement that the fit is wrong. Make those possibilities explicit without cornering the buyer.
Qualify together
Explore the problem, resources, and decision process with the buyer. Qualification is a joint assessment of whether further work is worthwhile.
One thing to try.
