SEO, AEO and GEO for sales-led content
Publish clear answers to buying questions and measure discoverability honestly.
Work through the steps
- Collect actual buyer questions from calls and search data. Group them by intent: problem, solution, comparison, cost, implementation, and trust. Give distinct questions distinct useful answers.
- Write a direct answer, then explain examples, trade-offs, evidence, and who the offer fits. Use descriptive headings, relevant internal links, author information, and dates where they help assess accuracy.
- Check crawlability, indexability, canonical URLs, mobile readability, and truthful structured data. Google says foundational SEO remains relevant to its AI features; there is no special markup that guarantees inclusion.
- Monitor Search Console and qualified inquiries. Sample relevant AI answers over time, recording the question and date, but do not treat occasional citations as a reliable ranking or promise of traffic.
In practice
“How long does CRM cleanup take for a small sales team?” needs a realistic scope explanation and dependencies. Repeating “best AI sales tool” across dozens of pages does not answer that question.
A prompt to make your own
Replace the brackets with approved context. Ask the assistant to identify missing information before proceeding, and review its output against your sources.
Use these real buyer questions to propose a content map. For each page identify primary intent, direct-answer opening, evidence needed, helpful example, internal link, and relevant next step. Avoid duplicative pages and unsupported statistics. Questions/offer: [paste].
Your assignment
Write one answer page addressing a high-intent buying question with verifiable evidence.
What to measure
Relevant impressions, qualified organic visits, and inquiries; track AI referrals where observable.
