Build your first AI sales workflow
Turn one messy task into a repeatable process you can review in 20 minutes.
Work through the steps
- Choose one recurring task: preparing for a discovery call, organizing notes, or drafting a follow-up. Write down the current time required and the mistakes you want to prevent.
- Create a context pack with your offer, approved proof, target buyer, tone, and one good example. Use anonymized notes for practice; use customer records only in tools your organization approves.
- Ask AI to produce a specific deliverable with separate facts, assumptions, and questions. Give it an output structure and tell it to leave unknowns blank.
- Compare the draft with your source material. Correct unsupported claims, personalize the language, and record what you changed. Save the improved prompt and repeat on three examples.
In practice
An onboarding consultant replaces 30 minutes of scattered research with a reviewed brief. Faster preparation is the first outcome to measure; a higher close rate is a separate hypothesis.
A prompt to make your own
Replace the brackets with approved context. Ask the assistant to identify missing information before proceeding, and review its output against your sources.
Act as my sales preparation assistant. Using only the approved context below, create a one-page brief: confirmed buyer priorities, evidence, unknowns, five discovery questions, and one possible next step. Mark assumptions. Do not invent company facts or customer results. Context: [paste].
Your assignment
Build one call-preparation brief and verify every factual sentence against the supplied notes.
What to measure
Minutes saved per reviewed brief, plus number of factual corrections.
